How can we help?

Contalo is an app for creating shared counters — a single live number that a group of people can view and update together. Use it for tallies, tracking, votes, or anything you'd otherwise count on your fingers.
Yes. Contalo is free to download from the App Store, and creating your first shared counters doesn't cost anything. We may introduce optional paid features later for people who need more counters or more history.
No account is required to join a counter someone shares with you — just open the link and start counting. Creating your own counters and keeping them saved across devices works best with a free Contalo account.
Contalo currently runs on iPhone with iOS 16 or later. An iPad-optimized layout and an Android version are both on the roadmap.
Every counter can be shared with a link. Anyone who opens it can join and start counting alongside you — no separate invite process needed.
There's no fixed limit. Counters work equally well for two people splitting chores or a large group tracking something together.
Yes. The person who created a counter can remove collaborators or turn off the shared link at any time from the counter's settings.
You can keep counting without a connection. Any taps made offline are queued and sync automatically the next time you're online.
Counters are only visible to people who have the link or have been invited. See our Privacy Policy for full details on what we collect and why.
Go to Settings → Account → Delete Account inside the app. This permanently removes your profile and any counters only you can see.
Android is in active development. Join the waitlist from the app's settings menu and we'll notify you the moment it's ready.
